Every other Tuesday night at 7 p.m. , Southside offers a help ministry called Overcomers. It is a confidential help group whose members reach out to one another to bring healing and support for times of crisis. Members of Overcomers lend their strength and prayers to one another in a support-group format that includes a Bible-centered message of hope and strength and a segment entitled, “Sharing and Caring.” The support group is open to anyone seeking strength and healing and is highly confidential. The motto of the group is, “What is said here, stays here.” The group meets in Room 10, just inside the double brown doors on the North side of the building.
